Matt Annin, French Horn
Matthew Annin is currently principal horn of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Matthew was previously a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, where he performed on several tours with the CSO, including tours to Japan and Carnegie Hall, in addition to performing on several orchestral recordings. Matthew has also been a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Louisville Orchestra. He has also performed with the Saint Louis Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, Peninsula Music Festival, Chautauqua Symphony, and Chicago’s Music of the Baroque. Matthew was a fellow at the New World Symphony, Tanglewood Music Center, and Music Academy of the West, where he appeared as soloist with the Music Academy Festival Orchestra.
Matthew received a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An avid runner, Matthew attempts to run over 1,000 miles each year. Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and spoiling their cat, Zoe.
